Action Biblique France is a union of Evangelical Protestant churches which is a continuation of the Protestant Reformation (16th century) and the Evangelical Revivals that followed.
Founded by Hugh Edward Alexander (1884-1957), during evangelism campaigns in Switzerland and France (1907-1918), Action Biblique was essentially a missionary work. It has developed through several ministries: distribution of Bibles and biblical literature, biblical training for adults, evangelism and edification of youth, edition of the Bible. This proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ has generated local churches, grouped by country, including Action Biblique France.
