How do you thoughtfully and intentionally meet people, build relationships, and share the gospel? The Covid-19 pandemic and its associated lockdowns and restrictions have underscored and deepened the isolation Parisians often experience. Now more than ever they are looking for meaningful connections.
Art, music, and culture bring this city together and provide natural bridges for each of our ministries to enter into relationships with Parisians. We believe having a permanent location where we can regularly welcome these events and encounters is key for building relationships of trust and creating opportunities for spiritual conversations.
Agapé Paris is a platform for collaboration between different ministries of Agapé France. We’re present among students, classical and jazz musicians, visual art exhibits, digital creation, conferences and humanitarian outreaches to the homeless.
Our team, made up of about twenty staff and volunteers, is very sensitive to the importance of being multicultural. Our passion is to share the Gospel with the millions of people who live in Paris or simply pass through.
We’ve been praying for over a year to have a solid base in the center of Paris to be a beacon of light, to adapt to Parisians, and to reach out to those who don’t know Jesus right where they live.
An unbelievable door has opened which we think will accelerate the spread of the Gospel : “The Agapé Hub”. It’s a property that has been completely remodeled and fits the criteria we’ve been thinking about for several months.
120 m2 /1200 ft2 in a vibrant neighborhood of the 3rd district, well-known as an artist’s quarter, full of Art galleries and small shops.
Paris boasts 1151 Art Galleries but only 55 Evangelical churches !
Paris is home to:
1 single Christian art gallery (the Pavé d’Orsay on the left bank)
A population of 2 million people who need the Gospel.
2 Protestant churches in the 3rd district and 5 in the 11th.
This open door is the one we’ve been waiting for so Agapé France staff and partners can shine with the light of God’s love in the “City of lights”.
Total to raise for the 2-year pilot project: 82,000 Euros
We estimate some 6000 people a year could be connected to the Gospel in this place.
We need your help to support this project during this time!
