The Alliance Biblique Française (ABF) has an unchanging mission to make the Bible available to all. Their new project, Bible de la Rue, expands this vision in an unprecedented way. In collaboration with partner organizations engaged in homeless ministry, ABF has designed a Bible specifically adapted to reach this population:
- Rugged, zippered case to withstand street conditions, weather, and store papers
- Easy to understand Parole de Vie translation, accessible to foreign or less-educated readers
- Large print text, as good access to eye care or glasses is rare
- Customized inserts, content and QR codes to minister to them in their context
ABF’s partner network and their faithful volunteers hope to distribute 10,000 copies around Christmas 2022. They aim to not just hand out the Bibles in passing, but to establish personal touch-points with those who are in need and most receptive to this outreach.
The total production cost of one of these Bibles, because of its high-quality material, is 20€. Distribution partners have agreed to contribute 5€ per copy, leaving a financial need of 15€ per Bible, or 150,000€.
That means that for every $17 you give, you can lovingly put the hope of God’s Word in the hands of one person on the street.
1 Bible = $17 / 2 Bibles = $34 / 4 Bibles = $68 / 8 Bibles $136 / Or more as you feel led
Please prayerfully consider supporting this unique and amazing project!
