Centre des Jeunes – La Frégate

Centre Des Jeunes (CDJ) is a retreat center located in St Lunaire, Brittany, and welcomes Christians and non-Christians from all over France. Its mission is to spread the Gospel to as many people as possible, and to be a place of renewal for Christians and church leaders.

CDJ organizes a wide range of stays: camps for children and teenagers, Bible training for young people, and teaching and renewal retreats for adults, all in the magnificent setting of Brittany’s coastline. Over the years, the Lord has used their work to call people to Him and to inspire and deepen vocations to serve Him. 

Being in use for decades, one of its buildings has fallen into disrepair and needs to be replaced.  In order to continue properly receiving visitors in good conditions and letting them encounter the Gospel in a welcoming atmosphere, CDJ will build a new building.  Called “La Frégate”, it will be accessible to people with reduced mobility, and contain eight bedrooms, showers, toilets and meeting rooms.  They have secured the building permit and work is beginning.
