Church Planting – Charis France

Charis France was established in the second half of the 20th century, with missionaries helping to plant 8 churches in some of the least reached parts of France, in and to the north of Lyon. While the movement plateaued for a time, the current generation of workers is revitalizing it as 3 churches have been planted since 2010 and 5 new projects are underway. Their goal is to train 10 new pastors by 2030 to serve wherever there is the most need.

The Charis Alliance has a history of over 300 years, its name being the Greek word for “grace.” Globally, they seek to establish local churches which are autonomous, but yet fully receptive and participative in the collaboration of God’s work with other churches.

Thank for your partnership through your generosity and prayer support. You can help Charis bring up new church planters and see more of France reached with the Gospel!
