Operation Christmas Gift
An open letter to those who care about the churches of France:
We’ve prayed for six churches in the last six months.
All told, we’ve sent 866 “signatures” to these churches – THANK YOU!
Most of the pastors have written us and expressed their joy and surprise to receive the list of people who prayed and left words of encouragement.
Now, as we approach the end of the year, I would usually write and ask you to consider a gift to Impact France for our work.
However, as I was praying about what I should write to you, I felt very strongly that we should give to these six churches.
We’ve prayed. Now, let’s give and put our resources directly into the works that we’ve been praying for!
So, today, will you consider making a tax-deductible gift to bless these churches?
The Simple 2-step Plan:
1. Visit http://impactfrance.org/support-impact-france/ and make your gift. Please put “Christmas Gift” in the Additional Comments section and leave any note you’d like for the pastors.
2. On January 1st, we’ll total up the amount, divide it evenly, and send it on to the six churches with the words of encouragement (all amounts and notes will be anonymous)
No gift is too small – the power of giving isn’t in the amount but in the act (Mark 12:41-44).
Also, 2 Corinthians 9:7 jumped out at me and I found this wonderful resource: http://biblehub.com/2_corinthians/9-7.htm. The site has different translations, commentary, and insights on giving joyfully. I’d encourage you to read it!
Thank you again for your support. Let’s rally together and BLESS THESE CHURCHES!
P. S. – If you wish to give by check, please make your check out to Impact France (memo: Christmas Gift) and send it to 1100 Peachtree Street, Suite 200, Atlanta, GA 30309.
