Eglise Connexion – Paris

Église Connexion (Connection Church) exists to call men and women to celebrate and be transformed by the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Established in 2014 in the center of Paris, God has grown this body from 10 people to 180 regular participants today. Having rented different spaces over the years at a very expensive price, the time has come to secure a sustainable location in the heart of the city.

Eglise Connexion is seeking to acquire a permanent site in the city that will allow the Gospel to touch not only locals, but also those further away who commute into Paris for work or activities. It is in line with the CNEF’s target to have 1 church per 10,000 inhabitants to ensure that every French citizen has a realistic chance of hearing the gospel (the CNEF is the National Counsel of Evangelicals in France). They have already raised 450k€ towards such a purchase, but would need to raise at least twice that amount for an adequate location.

This Christian hub will be a place to actively train the next generation of Christians and respond to the lack of resources that exist to serve churches in France by:

• Providing solid training in the Word and in the importance of serving in a local church;
• Training and equipping Christians to support or plant other churches;
• Being a light in the center of Paris every day of the week;
• Meeting as a church for prayer, vision casting, planning, etc. every day of the week;
• Last but not least, giving our partner churches a place to meet and by doing so, teaching healthy generosity at an early age (80% of Connexion members are under 35 y.o).

The vision of Eglise Connexion since 2014 is to embody the gospel, train disciples who make disciples and send equipped Christians to serve the Church of Christ in France and beyond.
