The following is a description of a ministry project of Impact France in collaboration with UEEBF (Union Evangélique d’Eglises Baptistes de France).

Marc-Etienne & Nathalie Debaisieux

Marc-Etienne is married to Nathalie and they serve the Ternes Church in the 17th district of Paris. Prior to this, Marc-Etienne worked 10 years for the mission OpenDoors.org. He then went to the Brussels Bible Institute to receive theological training in view of pastoral ministry. Nathalie was also able to take theological courses while their three boys (Lucas, Timothée and Siméon) were in school. This allowed the family to move and serve a church in the southeast of France for 6 years. Finally, in 2019, they were invited to join the Ternes Church.

Nathalie is working for BLF Editions, a French Christian publisher and is in charge of the editorial team.

The family currently lives outside of Paris, in a different community than that of the church. They see it as a step further for the gospel and the witness of the church to be able to move in the 17th district. This would mean more opportunities to get to know neighbors, share the gospel with them, and be involved in the life of the community. It would also provide a place to meet for one of the house groups of the church. The need is for the gospel to be more rooted in the area because more Christians can live in the area.

From the Debaisieux family: “We’d love for you to pray about this with us as we are looking for partners. We are looking for people who would commit to help us bridge the gap between the rent we are able to pay now outside of Paris and the much higher prices inside Paris (17th).”
