Paris is a city of arrivals. Every year, hundreds of thousands of people land here — students from Cameroon, engineers from Brazil, artists from Poland, professionals from everywhere and nowhere — all searching for belonging. Most churches weren’t built for them. We were called to serve them.

Pierre and Genifer know this world from the inside. After nine years studying and working in China, they walked alongside students, professionals, and gospel workers navigating life between cultures. When they returned to France, God made their calling unmistakable: the people most overlooked by existing churches — globally mobile, culturally “in-between,” spiritually hungry — are the people they were made to serve.

Why Paris?

Paris is one of Europe’s most consequential mission fields. It is a global economic and cultural hub, a convergence point for migrants, diaspora communities, and international professionals — and a city where deep secularism coexists with genuine spiritual hunger.

Most churches in Paris faithfully serve either French nationals or specific ethnic communities. But a rapidly growing third group exists between these structures:

• Young professionals and students who move between languages and cultures
• Migrants and refugees navigating enormous personal transition
• “Third-culture” individuals who don’t fit neatly into any single national church

Think of a Cameroonian dentist, a Polish student, and a Chinese artist — all living in the same Parisian region, all spiritually open, all without a church home. These are the people Pierre and Genifer exist to reach.

Their calling is not merely to welcome the world into a church. It is to disciple and gather these individuals into mature Christian community — and prepare them to plant churches themselves.

Ministry Strategy

1. Deep Discipleship & Leadership Multiplication

Pierre’s primary investment is long-term, one-on-one discipleship. He works with emerging leaders, young professionals, and believers seeking theological depth — not to build a following, but to raise up people who will lead others.

Pierre also contributes to theological training among the Chinese diaspora across the Paris region in partnership with the World Hope Bible Institute, equipping local believers for teaching, pastoral care, and leadership. Executive coaching relationships with business leaders extend gospel presence into professional environments traditional ministry rarely reaches.

2. Marketplace & Creative Mission

Genifer builds community through creativity and entrepreneurship with 4 Fils Carrés. Her crochet workshops create hospitable spaces where migrants, internationals, and French locals form authentic relationships — the kind that become the soil for deeper spiritual conversation.

This work has grown into something more: a missional enterprise that includes collaboration with Tibetan gospel workers producing alpaca and yak textiles, engagement with French creative communities, and a developing initiative to employ refugees in textile production and design.

This is evangelism and discipleship integrated into ordinary life — through hospitality, craft, beauty, and dignified work.

3. The Seed Project

Pierre and Genifer are launching The Seed Project: a daily Scripture calendar accompanied by devotionals designed to strengthen spiritual practice, equip believers for personal evangelism, and give seekers an accessible entry point into Scripture.

It functions both as a discipleship resource and an evangelistic tool — something a believer can give to a curious friend, or use themselves each morning before work.

The Next 24 Months

We are not building programs. We are building people. In the next two years, our priorities are:

• Launch The Seed Project devotional resource
• Establish a stable discipleship community ready for multiplication
• Expand theological training partnerships among diaspora believers
• Develop sustainable missional entrepreneurship employing refugees
• Lay the groundwork for a future third-culture church plant in Paris
