Grenoble Eybens Church (EPEGE)

The Grenoble Eybens Church (Église Protestante Évangélique de Grenoble Eybens or EPEGE) has served as a place of worship in the south of the city for decades. About to celebrate their 60th anniversary in 2027, the church is taking a step of faith and seeking to purchase and develop a larger, permanent site.

A new property has been identified closer to the city center which will allow it to increase capacity to 300 seats (+50%) for its Sunday service, and have extra space to organize more ministry activities. Multiple rooms and halls will allow for children’s and youth programs, concerts, tutoring, workshops, care for the vulnerable, outreach events, and more. The location is easily accessible by public transportation, car, and for those with limited mobility. Its surrounding local neighborhood is diverse, with a high Muslim population.

With a total project cost of 1,200,000€ – which includes planned renovation costs of over 300,000€ – the church is aiming to obtain a bank loan of 600,000€ and contribute 300,000€ of savings it has been able to build over a long time. This leaves 300,000€ for which they are actively seeking financial partners.

Your generosity will enable EPEGE to lay a stable foundation and base to expand its ministry and impact on their community!
