The following is a description of a ministry project of Impact France in collaboration with CAEF .
Gilbert Family
The CAEF church union is part of the IBCM Network, which is the international association of the Church of the Brethren.
From Alex, Ingrid and Elena (2009), Alice (2011) and Luca (2017) :
Our family was blessed to be able to serve in youth ministry with Word of Life France for 16 years. Since 2017 we have lived in Normandy, where increasing involvement in our local church in Carentan made it clear that God was calling us into pastoral ministry in 2022. Service opportunities multiplied: worship, preaching, Sunday school, women’s group, youth group, discipleship… and Alex was appointed as an elder in November 2022.
While being involved in our church, we remain committed to supporting and serving the churches of our area in Normandy given the many local needs. This includes the Lord’s work among youth by collaborating with various missions within the CAEF’s network as well as others. God keeps building more partnerships which we believe will make His Kingdom advance wider in Normandy and France.
We trust the Lord for His provision, as we transition to work full-time in a region where most churches can’t afford to pay a Pastor. Thank you for being part of our adventure and may God bless your participation in our ministry through prayer and giving !
