Hope and Joy – Montpellier

For the 10 years that the Hope and Joy association has existed, they continue to see how essential the thirst for the Word of God is among the people in prostitution. These victims of human trafficking (both women and men) are prevented by their prostitution networks from visiting churches, so the volunteers take the church to them. Their mobile church truck allows them to make weekly visits, both night and day, to many locations in a 100-km radius of Montpellier where they offer spiritual and physical support such as teaching, discipleship, spiritual healing, and post-traumatic care to both victims and their parents. They also organize street worship services and services on special occasions such as Christmas and Easter.

Hope and Joy is a ministry that works with people who are particularly socially isolated and subjected to mafia networks (international, local, or family). The stakes are very high and prayer is essential for the protection of the victims as well as the Hope and Joy volunteers.

Please also pray that, in an increasingly de-Christianized France, Hope and Joy shines amidst the darkness of all these forms of abuse.

They are committed to extending their network even further, to Marseille, Toulouse, and Alsace, so that no person in prostitution is forgotten. Please pray that this expansion happens quickly so that more people can share the love and forgiveness of our Lord Jesus Christ.
