Draguignan – Pierre-Yves Koenig

The following is a description of a ministry project of Impact France in collaboration with AB Grasse.

Draguignan – Pierre-Yves Koenig

Pierre-Yves Koenig is part of Action Biblique’s church planting team in Draguignan. After completing his theological training at Charlotte Chapel in Edinburgh, and an internship with 9Marks in Washington, in early 2027 he joins two colleagues and their families who are already living there.

Draguignan, in the Var region, is near the Verdon Gorge, which welcomes 4.6 million tourists a year, as well as Canjeurs, the largest military training camp in Western Europe.

According to the CNEF (National Council of Evangelicals of France), the Var region needs approximately 60 churches, but currently only has about 20, all concentrated near the coast. The Draguignan region has only two evangelical churches for a population of more than 110,000 inhabitants.

The leadership team includes Pierre-Yves and two other elders, and adheres to a Baptist/Calvinist theology, committed to founding a community subject to Scripture, centered on the Gospel, and eager to serve God in Draguignan and the surrounding region.

Will you help support Pierre-Yves and his work in France?
