Fondation La Cause

Fondation La Cause (“The Cause” Foundation) was established in 1920 and for over a century has been involved in proclaiming the Gospel in France through a variety of social, educational and cultural initiatives. Inspired by Christ’s call to serve and love, it works to support the most vulnerable, regardless of people’s origin or beliefs. This includes providing relational care and support to singles, couples, and families through organized stays, group meetings and published Christian materials. La Cause also supports the blind and visually impaired through special resources, and offers sponsorship programs of children in poverty or broken families.

Among its initiatives, the Foundation is currently investing in the program “La Cause des Familles”, which pairs neuroscience and psychology data with in-depth Biblical exploration. As they promote it:

The perfect family doesn’t exist. But perfect Love does exist, and it’s available to all imperfect families. The workshops are divided into six two-hour sessions, with scientific and Biblical content to provide concrete tools and start spiritual conversations around parenthood. They approach key parenting themes and child development issues, and make the connection with what God says about Him and about us. And above all,we learn how to develop a culture of grace in our relationships.
Practically speaking, it’s also a fun time with your child and other parents to play, learn, and get inspired!

Despite have the word “Fondation” in its name, La Cause does not have an endowment fund and relies on donations to fund its programs. Your support will help them to continue to serve those in need with the love of Christ!
