Harry and Elisa Noel

The following is a description of a ministry project of Impact France in collaboration with Perspectives and the UEEBF.

Harry is the lead pastor of Eglise de la Plaine, a church planting team at Porte de Vincennes near Nation in the 20th district of Paris. This is a place Harry, Elisa and their 3 year-old son Peter-Isaiah, love and live. A place sadly known to be the site of the 2015 Hyper Casher hostage attack.

As an intern pastor for one year, Harry had the opportunity to get to know this district – where 200,000 people live, with 12% being Muslims. During this time getting to know the people who live there, the need to multiply the number of churches faithful in the proclamation of the gospel in this area became evident.

Their dream is to be part of the French project “1 church for 10,000 people” and be a tool in the hands of God to plant a church “anchored” in the neighborhood. The desire is for this to be a church where non-Christians will be welcome and find a place where the gospel will be explained faithfully and simply. They are convinced that big cities like Paris are strategic.
