The following is a description of a ministry project of Impact France in collaboration with Oasis des Cultures.

Who We Are
Oasis des Cultures is an association with members of diverse economic, spiritual, and social backgrounds from 25+ countries. Oasis was established by Alliance missionaries and is led by believers from local churches who volunteer their time and energy to share the love of Jesus among its members and within the local community.
A Great Opportunity to Share the Love of Jesus
Oasis operates out of a small community center which is strategically located in the Val d’Aran neighborhood of Colomiers, in greater Toulouse. This predominantly Muslim neighborhood, characterized by large government housing blocks, is also home to refugees from around the globe. There is an exciting local government initiative of 80 million euros to revitalize the neighborhood from 2022-2027 — and Oasis is located at the very heart of this social, economic, and urban renewal.
How We Do It
The community center has a café and several multi-use spaces. Weekly programming for children and adults includes arts and crafts, English conversation groups, beginners French for refugees, exercise and dance classes. Concerts, bilingual book groups, writing groups, walking groups, and even occasional picnics are regular activities throughout the year.
Those who participate often remark that there is “something different” at Oasis. Of course, we know that the “something different” is the love of God. He has called us to love our neighbor which is our mission. We see that Oasis has grown to be a place where people feel welcomed, heard, safe, respected, loved and not judged. Our desire is that through our relationships, we can share the love of Christ with all who come to the center.
