The following is a description of a ministry project of Impact France in collaboration with Groupes Bibliques Universitaires (GBU).

Joanna Ong

Joanna has been involved with the GBU’s student ministry ever since she was a student. After completing her fine arts degree, she decided to serve in the GBU, first as an intern through the Relay program and currently as the Regional Coordinator for the southwest of France.

Serving students in Bordeaux, Côte Basque, Figeac, Pau, Perpignan and Toulouse, her role is to equip student leaders and their groups to share the Gospel among their friends and on their campus, through seeker friendly Bible-studies and evangelistic events.

Joanna is convinced of the importance of student ministry, and of being a missionary wherever God places you. Her desire is to help students find out how to minister in their own specific context and to grow in their relationship with Christ. She currently lives in Toulouse, where her fiancé serves the local GBU group and students through Intervarsity Link.
