USE OF COOKIES
The Impact France Web site use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize Impact France pages, or register with Impact France site or services, a cookie helps Impact France to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same Impact France Web site, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the Impact France features that you customized.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Impact France services or Web sites you visit.
SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Impact France secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Impact France secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other Web sites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
CHANGES TO THIS STATEMENT
Impact France will occasionally update this Statement of Privacy to reflect company and customer feedback. Impact France encourages you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how Impact France is protecting your information.

INFORMATION COLLECTED BY THIRD PARTIES ON THE IF SITE
At times, certain funds are established with IF with the intention to conduct their own fundraising. In order to enable donors to make donations to those fundraising funds at IF, we have arranged for a vendor named Salsa to host a widget through which donors can make donations and access details about those donations. When you make a donation through Salsa, you may be asked to provide certain contact information (such as your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address) and billing information (such as your credit card number and expiration date) in order to enable your donation to be processed and a confirmation to be provided to you. IF will not have access to the complete credit card information that you submit via Salsa (although it may retain the last four digits of your credit card number in order to process any refunds); and Salsa will be entitled to use such information solely for the purpose of processing the transaction and permitting you to access your transaction details. Salsa’s privacy and security policies are available at https://www.salsalabs.com/privacy-policy and will provide you information about the steps that Salsa takes to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure or use. We encourage you to read Salsa’s privacy and security policies so that you understand how Salsa will use, protect and disseminate the information you submit.
IF SITE USAGE INFORMATION
Information (e.g., log files, cookies, Internet tags, web beacons, etc.) we collect from you through your use of the Site will be used to (a) monitor the operation, technical functions and quality of the Site, (b) compile general statistics regarding use of the Site, and (c) analyze demographic information about the Site’s users. We may also use such information for research or improvements of the Site and the services we offer you.
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We do not disclose any personal information about our donors, or former donors, to anyone except as permitted or required by law.
SECURITY OF INFORMATION
IF is committed to protecting the security of your personal information transmitted to and from this website and will take reasonable security precautions to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won’t be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet.
