Thank you so much for your desire to invest in God’s mission in France! Your prayers and gifts really DO make a difference here.
I’m Stéphanie Revault. Born and raised in Brittany (the “wild” celtic part of France ;)), I accepted God as my Lord and Savior when I was a child. I had planned to become an historian, but when I was finishing my Master’s degree, the Lord made it clear He had other — and better — plans for me.
He convinced me to pack my suitcase and head to North Africa, where I lived and worked for 5 years. It was there that I heard His call to ministry, especially encouraging His children to keep trusting Him, no matter what. To my surprise, once I got the call and was ready to serve overseas for the rest of my life, God invited me to go back to France, and serve His people in the very place I grew up in !
After 3 years of study (theology and discipleship / spiritual care) and internship, I was accepted as a pastoral assistant in the church of Rennes Sud. I currently spend half of the week serving the congregation: mentoring women, helping church admin, directing projects and communicating with external partners.
I also work part-time with my union of churches, Perspectives, at a regional and a national level. This allows me to know and invest in different networks of churches and pastors, and also lets me see what God is doing in our union church at different scales. On the regional level, I am responsible for member care of women in ministry (leaders, chaplains, pastoral assistants…) which is a great honor ! On the national level, I’m part of the communication team for our church union.
Please join me in praying that I will keep walking in the path God has made for me, so I will serve Him and His family the way He wanted, for His glory 🙂
