The following is a description of a ministry project of Impact France in collaboration with Centre de Réconciliation .
An integral part of the identity of the Reconciliation Church is to care for the people around us who are not being helped.
This desire was a driving force behind the creation of the Solidarity Boutique (Boutique Solidaire aux Carrés). The boutique is a second-hand clothing store, which has the primary purpose of serving the community, but secondarily has environmental benefits thanks to recycling clothing and textiles. The boutique has a beautiful window situated on a main axis point of the city and 20 meters from the Reconciliation Church.
Through the boutique we are able to provide many resources for the community, such as internships for students, a gathering place for creating new relationships, and also a shelter space for homeless women with children. Funds and profits from the boutique are used for other community projects through the church.
This boutique serves as an opportunity for the church to show their faith in action.
