Secours Protestant

The following is a description of a ministry project of Impact France in collaboration with Secours Protestant.

In the Bible, Jesus uses the story of the Good Samaritan to illustrate how to love one’s neighbor (Luke 10:25-37), and then says “Go, and do likewise.” Secours Protestant encourages, equips and trains Christians to become the Good Samaritans of our time.

To do this, we provide complete care in three dimensions: body, soul and spirit. Secours Protestant was founded in 2014 with this vision: “No matter where we go or what we do, we offer more than help. We offer hope. For people who are suffering in a broken world, we share the good news of the only One who can bring true peace, Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace.”

Our Work :

– Training: Accompanying the Good Samaritans of our time and equipping them with field skills.
Training in first aid, counseling, and community education & well-being

– Relief: Being an agent of one’s own safety and that of others.
Setting up first aid stations, emergency intervention, and response to social crises

– Aid: Going wherever there is need, from right around the corner to all the way around the world.
Counseling, hotlines, social work in France (ministry to homeless and migrants), and humanitarian efforts abroad (construction projects, health, education, agriculture, water & hygiene)
