The following is a description of a ministry project of Impact France in collaboration with Street Pasteur France.
Street Pasteur France
For over 20 years, Jean and his team have felt a burden to reach young people by meeting them where they are and supporting their physical, social, and spiritual development. They lead regular street sports activities in neighborhoods where young people live and include a short sermon tailored to the audience with opportunities to talk about what they’re learning. They invite the young people to go further through sports camps in the mountains during vacation periods.
Other work the team is involved in:
• outreach and chaplaincy work in a youth migrant shelter
• prison chaplaincies, where they connect with minors as well as the adult prison population
• nighttime prevention work with young people
Each young person who wants to learn more is supported in their spiritual journey through regular Bible studies and adapted worship services (shared meals, worship, and activities) each month. Jean and his team would love to organize a church with the youth and their families.
