PLANTING A NEW DISCIPLESHIP COMMUNITY IN VENDÉE

A Call in Vendée

It was in the summer of 2015, during a vacation in Vendée, that a prophetic word deeply challenged Jean-Sébastien Fontaine and his family: it invited them to found a new discipleship community in that area. This moment marked a turning point in their spiritual life. Their ministry began in Normandy, where they planted communities in Yvetot and then in Aumale. They took the time needed to train, grow, and prepare themselves to fully respond to God’s call.

A New Beginning

In a region where evangelical churches are still rare, Vanina and Jean-Sébastien received God’s conviction to become disciple-makers and work to multiply missionary communities in Vendée. In July 2025, they left their native Normandy to settle there and lay the foundations for this new church planting project.

A Bivocational Mission, a Need for Support

Vanina and Jean-Sébastien will carry out their mission in a bivocational framework, balancing spiritual commitment and professional activities. To provide for their family and effectively support their work on the ground, they need financial resources. Each donation will contribute to the development of this work and to meeting its needs as they progress.
