Church Planting in Cormeilles-En-Parisis
The Wrays are living in Cormeilles-En-Parisis to launch a church plant where there is no evangelical church present in this city of 25,000 people. More than 70,000 people live in the area and have no immediate access to an evangelical church.
They are working closely with an established church based in Taverny-Beauchamp (suburbs of Paris) with whom they share a vision to plant several churches united through a network in the near future.
They first started a Gospel choir and different social activities in Cormeilles-En-Parisis. Later, the congregation met in a building that was kindly offered by a Catholic school. In October 2018, they started monthly services. Since September 2019, they have been meeting three times a month: twice in the school and once in local homes with an average attendance of thirty plus adults and a dozen children. Several people without a Christian background are also coming on a regular basis and some of them are also coming to meetings during the week.
