Eglise Bordeaux Bastide

This church in Bordeaux was founded in 2023 with the simple vision to know Jesus Christ and to make him known. How do they do this?

1. Through God’s Word, which is at the center of all their activities. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has been transforming generations for centuries and remains good news that is relevant today for all nations. The Bible is the ultimate way to discover and know Jesus Christ!
2. Life Together. God is forming a people who care for one another. He turns then away from their indifference and individualism to lead a communal life with Christ. He gathers people from all walks of life to live united in Christ. His overflowing love teaches them to love and show compassion toward our neighbors. His love transforms all relationships on a daily basis and profoundly changes the way they see others.
3. Love in Action: The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not a theoretical message. It is a message to be embodied daily. God’s overflowing love is the fuel for their love toward others. They desire to build a family where everyone finds their place with the love of Jesus lived out at the center.
4. Disciple-making. Each year, they make disciples by offering them an intensive internship within their local church. These are “à la carte,” part-time, or full-time internships. This training allows participants to discover Christian ministry before committing to more in-depth training. The training is designed for those who do not currently have the opportunity to pursue studies at a theological institute or faculty.
